Currently instaSigner only supports PDF files.

Yes, as per Information Technology Act 2000 in India, Digital Signature Certificates are legally valid in India. Digital Signature Certificates are issued by licensed Certifying Authorities under the Ministry of Information Technology, Government of India as per the Information Technology Act.

Open the signed document in Adobe Acrobat Reader. Go to signature panel and right click on the signature. Check signature properties.

instaSigner supports PKI based digital signing that is valid legally the world over. PKI signatures are done using Digital signature certificates (DSC) issued by Certifying Agencies (CA). These digital signature certificates (DSC) can either stored on an e-token or on HSM’s or as PFX files.
